It will be on the site below in about an hour
Here is the direct link to get it now
GP 2013 SP 2 Translations are ready to release for French and Spanish, I will get that notice out tomorrow.
We now need to work on Canadian Payroll releases in mid-December and the changes their agency provides (we are still waiting for notice)
Happy to announce ahead of schedule the US Year-end changes have released for GP 2010
Below are the sites that list all the changes, the pages below will synch shortly and you will see it listed.
This update is all inclusive of prior updates for Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 and GP 2013.
You can start to install and get the MSP via the link below for 2010 now:
Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010
Once you install the update, your version for GP 2010 will be 11.00.2292
(Also changes to Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Human Resource, Field Service, Payroll Extensions, Advanced HR)
Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013
Once you install the update, your version for GP 2013 will be 12.00.1538
(Also changes to Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, Manufacturing, Human Resource, Field Service, Cashbook, Analytical Accounting,
Payroll Extensions, Advanced HR)
2014 US Payroll Round 1 Tax Update (due to release week of 12/16)
Changes so far: (circular E not final)
FICA Social Security limit, California, Kansas, Maryland, North Carolina
Please Note: The 2013 Year-End Update and 2014 Tax Updates will not be available for Microsoft Dynamics GP 10.0 and prior versions.
IMPORTANT TO NOTE THIS YEAR IF YOU USE BUSINESS PORTAL HRMSS:
If you are using Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 SP 2 or above AND you use Business Portal Human Resource Self Service Suite you will need to install the BP Hotfix.
There were table changes made in GP 2013 Service Pack 2 around Payroll Direct Deposit affected Business Portal Human Resource Self Service functionality.
Please refer to my blog 'Microsoft Dynamics GP 2013 Service Pack 2 does not seem to play NICE with Business Portal Human Resource Self Service Suite 6.0' for further details around this:
If you have employees that make over $200.000 you should install the year end update, this is also noted in the changes section.
If you do not install the year end update, when the year end file is created, it will grab an incorrect Medicare limit in the year end file.
If the Year End Update is not installed prior to closing Payroll:
W2 Medicare Taxable Wages may be incorrect on printed W2's (Box 5) for employees making more than 200,000.
Workaround this by updating the FICAMWLM field in the UPR10100 table as follows:
UPDATE UPR10100 set FICAMWLM=' ' WHERE RPTNGYR ='2013'
If you install the year end update you will not have this issue, if you do not have employees that make over 200,000 you also will not see this issue.
The Connect has been changed for year-end and we have a blog featured each week for different modules, check it out!
Once US is out the door, we will focus on Canadian Payroll
We are currently waiting changes for Canadian Payroll
The recent change to the ROE file submission will be in the year end update when it releases.
****Translations for GP 2013 SP 2 should release this week as well for French and Spanish.*****
